The 5N/6D Itinerary.
| Day | Plan |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Depart Chennai on the morning direct flight, land at Dubai International around midday. Meet-and-greet at the airport, private transfer to your hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. Evening free at The Dubai Mall — the Dubai Fountain show runs every 30 minutes from 6pm. |
| Day 2 | Half-day Dubai city tour — Jumeirah Mosque, Burj Al Arab photo stop, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Frame and the Gold and Spice Souks in Deira with an abra crossing over Dubai Creek. Afternoon: Burj Khalifa levels 124 and 125 with a timed-entry slot to avoid the queue. |
| Day 3 | Morning at leisure. Afternoon pickup for the red-dune desert safari at Lahbab — dune bashing, camel ride, sandboarding, henna, tanoura and belly-dance show, and a BBQ dinner at the camp under lights. Back at the hotel by 9:30pm. Non-dune-bashing vehicles available for elders and young children. |
| Day 4 | Full-day Abu Dhabi excursion — Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (modest dress required, abayas provided at the entrance), Qasr Al Watan presidential palace, the Corniche and a drive past Emirates Palace. Return to Dubai by evening. |
| Day 5 | Morning at Dubai Miracle Garden (November to April) or Global Village, both of which close in the summer months. Evening dhow cruise on Dubai Marina with an international dinner buffet and live entertainment. |

What Chennai Travellers Ask Us First.
Getting there
Chennai has daily direct flights to Dubai on Emirates, IndiGo, Air India Express and Air India, and the sector takes about 4 hours 15 minutes. Emirates operates the widebody service with the most generous baggage allowance, which matters if you are shopping. Morning departures from Chennai land in Dubai around midday and give you a usable first day — we default to those rather than the red-eye options.
Visa timelines
UAE tourist visas for Indian passport holders are processed in 3 to 4 working days. You need a passport with 6 months validity, a recent white-background photograph and a confirmed return ticket. If your passport was issued in a different state, allow an extra day. Aleef processes the visa in-house at our Mannadi office, and our doorstep service means we collect the passport from your home or office anywhere in Chennai.
Money and currency
The UAE Dirham is pegged to the US Dollar, so the rupee rate moves only with the dollar. We are an RBI-authorised money changer, so you can collect Dirham cash or a forex card from the same office that issues your ticket, at a rate we quote upfront. Carrying Dirham from Chennai is almost always cheaper than exchanging rupees at Dubai airport.
When to travel
November to March is the comfortable season and also the busiest — book 6 to 8 weeks ahead for Christmas and New Year travel. April, May, September and October are shoulder months with lower hotel rates and manageable heat. Global Village and Miracle Garden are closed from roughly May to October, so if those are on your list, travel in winter.
Travelling with elders or children
A large share of our Dubai bookings from Chennai are three-generation family trips. We book hotels with lifts and in-room kettles, arrange wheelchair assistance at both airports at no extra charge, request the non-dune-bashing desert safari vehicle, and add vegetarian or Jain meal plans where needed. Say so when you enquire and it is built into the quote rather than added later.
